Membership Types

Corporate Membership

Corporate members of CBC are composed of Cameroonian / non-Cameroonian companies, working with other Cameroonian companies, serving Cameroonian products or other business activities related to Cameroonian.

Cameroon Business Council offers two types of corporate membership:

  • Gold Corporate Membership
  • Corporate Membership

 

Gold Corporate Membership

Companies applying for Gold Corporate Membership shall have the right to appoint up to three individuals as representatives of their companies to the General Assembly. Each representative shall have one vote at meeting of the General Assembly. Gold Corporate Member are listed by name on online and printed Membership Directory and they will get monthly online newsletter. They have right to make mailing five times a year to CBC database for free in a year and announcements shared via social media accounts.

Required Documents:

  • Copies of Company’s Trade License and VAT Certificate
  • Passport and Emirates ID copies of the Corporate Member Representatives

Fees:

AED 6,500(+VAT) including AED 2,500 one-time registration fee and AED 4,000 annual membership fee.

 

Corporate Membership

Companies applying for Corporate Membership shall have the right to appoint up to two (2) individuals as representatives of their companies to the General Assembly. Each representative shall have one vote at meeting of the General Assembly. Corporate Member are listed by name on online and printed Membership Directory and they will get monthly online newsletter. They have right to make mailing twice a year to CBC database for free in a year, and announcements shared via social media accounts.

Required Documents:

  • Copies of Company’s Trade License and VAT Certificate
  • Passport and Emirates ID copies of the Corporate Member Representatives

Fees:

AED 4,500(+VAT) including AED 2,500 one-time registration fee and AED 2,000 annual membership fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For the following years, all members shall receive a reminder for the payment of next year’s annual fee during the last month of financial year (December). The annual fee shall be paid during the first month of the financial year. Members who fail to pay their annual fees within that period shall receive a notice from CBC as a reminder. After reminder members who fail to pay shall be subjected to cancellation, at the discretion of the Administrative Board.
